Unibios Laboratories Limited was incorporated in 1991, and has separate manufacturing units for General and Beta Lactum products. Both the manufacturing units of the Company are located at Palghar about 100 kms away from Mumbai. The factory building is 30,000 sq. ft. on a free hold land of 60,000 sq. ft.
The Company mainly manufactures Pharmaceuticals formulations in the form of tablets, capsules and dry syrups as per International Standards. The product range of more than 100 formulations broadly includes NSAIDs, Antibiotics, Antibacterial, Anthelmintics, Antifungals, Antidiabetic, Antiretroviral, Antihypertensive, Antipsychiatric, Antiulcer, Anti Allergic, Anti Protozoal, Anti-Tubercular, Anti Malarial, and Corticosteroids which are exported to Chile, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kazakistan, Kenya, Myanmar, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Vietnam, etc. and also sold in domestic market.
The Company has been accredited for WHO GMP Certification. SGS has also confirmed that Unibios Laboratories Limited follows the guidelines specified by WHO GMP for its day to day production activities.
The Company is enjoying the status of Government recognized “EXPORT HOUSE” since 2001.
THE MANUFACTURING AREA consists of GENERAL MANUFACTURING AREA, BETA-LACTUM AREA AND CENTRAL QUALITY CONTROL LABORATORY. The factory is equipped with modern machinery confirming to the WHO GMP Standards. Each department is housed in a separate section.
Each manufacturing machine especially the tablet punching and capsule filling machines are segregated from each other and have separate AHUs to rule out the possibility of any cross contamination.
THE PACKING AREA located in separate section consist of blister packing, strip packing and bulk packing machines.
The
QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT of the Company is equipped with modern “State of the Art” instrument like HPLC, FTIR, Spectrometer, etc. and has all the requisite sections – analytical, chemical, instrumentation and microbiological for complete inhouse testing.
